Typical of Rooms 407ABCD - 411ABCD - 415ABCD - 419ABCD Light Hall

Each room, A, B, C and D contains a projection screen, VCR, video/data projector, computer (PC) with internet connection and an additional internet and projector port for a laptop computer. The equipment and lights can operated from the control panel located in the front of each room

A wireless microphone may be checked out from the Media Center for use during normal business hours. Due to equipment resrictions only one microphone is available per group of four single rooms. For example Rooms 407ABCD have a single wireless microphone. If the rooms are combined AB and CD then only the AB or CD side could utilize the microphone.

By opening and closing the movable walls, two, three or four rooms can be combined to accommodate varying group sizes. Note: This must be pre-scheduled as the walls must be moved by authorized staff as well as wireless microphone signals and lighting controls routed as per configuration.

Written instructions are provided for projector operation next to each equipment rack in the front of each section of the room.

When the power ON command is issued from any control panel within a group of rooms, all the projectors in that group will power up and display thee output of the computer closest to that particular panel. To get all the projectors to display the same image, decide which computer, laptop or VCR you wish to deignate as the "master" display device, then, on the closest control panel to that device, press the button with the devices name. All the projectors in that group will switch inputs to display the chosen device. At ant time you may change to a different sections computer, or laptop or vcr, by choosing the input button on the panel closest to the device.
